Flamengo/Marinha drew with Iranduba at CEFAN, on Thursday afternoon (15), in the first leg of the quarterfinals of the Brazilian Women's Football Championship. With two goals in the last minutes of the final stage, the Meninas da Gávea drew 2-2 and will look for a place next week. After the match, coach Ricardo Abrantes spoke exclusively to the Official Website.

"We dominated the game in the first half, but we were too slow. Iranduba attacked three times and managed to score two goals. That wasn't our style. At halftime, I talked to them and told them that wasn't how we played, that that wasn't Flamengo. Even though we were winning with technique, we'll win with strength, determination, and desire. That's Flamengo. The ball wouldn't go in at all, but they never gave up. We managed to draw, and a simple win there is enough to secure qualification," analyzed the coach.

For the next match, scheduled for Wednesday (21), at 21 pm, at Arena da Amazônia, Ricardo Abrantes asked for the support of the Manaus fans, in addition to commenting that the red-blacks should repeat the performance of the second period. "It's important to have this posture from the second half, when we didn't let them play properly. That's our game. The first half was atypical of what we normally do. We have to repeat these final 45 minutes throughout the match", he stated.
