After the 1-0 victory against São José last Sunday (19), in a match played in Gávea, coach Ricardo Abrantes evaluated Flamengo/Marinha's performance in the match, highlighting mainly the second half.

"We knew they were going to play defensively. We were a bit slow in the first half, giving São José time to get going and come out with two very compact lines, with two attackers well-positioned to counterattack. We struggled at the start; the passing and switching were slow, and our attackers weren't together enough to make plays," analyzed Ricardo Abrantes.

"In the second half, we managed to get those balls in, and that's the style of play we want. The girls from the back came forward, the attack closed in, and we dominated completely, playing inside their box for almost 45 minutes. Flamengo doesn't come in looking for a draw anywhere; our style of play is fast ball and quick passes. Our goal is to win this second championship by playing like this," commented the coach.

Mais Querido's next game will be against Ferroviária, who managed to win the first after losing in their debut, on Monday (27). The coach analyzed the match, stating that Flamengo/Marinha will enter Araraquara with full force.

"It's a tough game, and like São José, they're a team with a long history in women's football. They're strong teams, and we work hard for these matches. We don't know how to play defensively; we're a technical, fast, and quick team. I hope to perform like we did here, getting some things right so we can come away with the three points. We're in a tough group; everyone is very strong. Whoever wants to be champion has to win, and Flamengo has to win every time," she said.
