O JOGO
The first half was very tense until the technical timeout in the 20th minute. After that, Rubro-Negro dominated the action and created several chances through Ju Lopes and Mariana Fernandes. In fact, MF7 scored the first goal. In the 37th minute, the forward received the ball, dribbled easily, broke into the box, and hit a cross-shot past the opposing goalkeeper. Vitória then nearly scored the second with a shot from outside the box. The first 45 minutes ended like that.
After returning from the locker room, Ana Portugal and Maria Peck, who are part of the first team, came on and tripled the team's performance. This was evident right away. Two minutes in, Mariana Fernandes made a beautiful play and passed to Peck, who put the ball in the net: 2-0. In the 21st minute, Peck took responsibility again, sprinted, and scored the third with style.
In the 27th minute, Ana Portugal gained speed and crossed to Flavia, who just finished: 4-0. With the score under control, Mengão held on to their lead, but ended up conceding a goal before the referee called the match. Overall, a very positive result.
SPEAK, JU LOPES!
