U-20 draws 0-0 with Fluminense and advances to the next stage of the Women's Brasileirão in the category

In the last round of the first phase of the Brasileirão Sub-20, Flamengo drew 0-0 with Fluminense at the Gabriel Marques da Silva Stadium and qualified for the next stage of the championship in first place with 14 points.

The game
The Gávea Girls started the derby looking to attack. Just one minute in, the red-and-black team made their first good move. Duda Rodrigues crossed for Mariana Fernandes, but the striker couldn't reach her. In the 29th minute, Mariana made a beautiful play, dribbling past two players, and crossing. Pimenta was blocked just as she was about to shoot. The first half ended goalless.

Flamengo returned for the second half looking to open the scoring. In the eighth minute, Mariana Fernandes attempted a bicycle kick, but Fluminense's defense cleared it. In the 16th minute, Mariana again entered the box and shot, but the goalkeeper saved it with her feet.

In the final stretch of the match, the Meninas da Gávea continued to search for the winning goal. In the 37th minute, Ana Laura crossed into the box, and Pimentinha was blocked as she shot. Despite their efforts, the derby ended in a draw. The Rubro-Negro advanced to the next round, while Fluminense was eliminated from the competition.
