In the first test of the season, the Mais Querido U-20 team beat Canto do Rio 4-1, on Saturday morning (5), in a training match held at CEFAN. Duda Rodrigues (2) and Mariana Fernandes (2) scored the goals.

The game
With the team already in sync, Flamengo began the match studying their opponent well and gradually loosened up. In the first dangerous opportunity, Tuane won the ball on the wing and crossed to Mariana Fernandes, who couldn't finish. Then, after a well-worked play, Letícia tried her luck from distance, but without danger. Despite their dominance, the Meninas da Gávea conceded a goal in the final play of the first half, from a corner kick.

Faced with a partial defeat, the team came back more focused. The pressure paid off, and Duda Rodrigues dispossessed the team on the left, burst into the box, and was awarded a penalty. The striker leveled the score at 1-1. Well-positioned in defense with defenders Lorena and Alessandra, Mengão pushed forward and quickly turned the game around. After a back-and-forth, Duda Rodrigues seized the opportunity and scored again.

With the advantage, Rubro-Negro created new opportunities and extended the lead with Mariana Fernandes, who received a beautiful pass from Kaylane Júnior. The number 7 also sealed the victory in style. After a triangulation, Duda Basílio crossed, the captain caught it first time and swelled the net: 4-1.
