On the morning of this Friday (6), Mengão played very well and beat Cresspom 7-0 in a game valid for the second round of the Brazilian Women's Under-20 Championship. The goals were scored by Maria Peck (2), Gica, Mariana Fernandes, Núbia, Pimenta and Pimentinha. With the victory, the team isolated itself in the lead of group E.

The game
With a highly attacking approach, Flamengo opened the scoring after just five minutes. After a good exchange of passes, Pimenta passed to Mariana Fernandes, who controlled the ball and scored a stunning goal. In the 16th minute, Diovanna lined up on the wing and crossed. Cris controlled the ball, was blocked, and on the rebound, Pimentinha made no mistake: 2-0. Given this positive scenario, the Meninas da Gávea continued to apply pressure and created several opportunities. The third came in the 33rd minute. Ingrid took a free kick, the defense cleared it, Pimenta won it and fired it into the corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance. The first half ended like this.

After the break, coach Celso Silva made four quick changes, and the pace never dropped. Just two minutes in, Kaylane Júnior reached the baseline, rolled the ball into the box, and Maria Peck, who had just come on, doubled the lead. The fifth goal came again from the number 10, and it was a real treat. In the 32nd minute, Peck was awarded a penalty. From the spot, Gica scored the sixth. With the score under control, there was still time for a seventh. In stoppage time, Duda Rodrigues crossed, and Núbia backheeled it into the back of the net, sealing the victory.
