On the morning of this Saturday (19), Flamengo's U-20 played very well and beat Nova Aliança 9-1 in the debut of the Unifoot Diamante Pro Cup. Letícia (2), Pimentinha (2), Duda Rodrigues, Kaylane Júnior, Mariana Fernandes, Naely and Tuane scored the winning goals.

The game

Taking advantage of home advantage, Flamengo started the match pressing hard and pressing hard. Their approach paid off, and in the second minute, after a cross from Mariana Fernandes, Pimentinha took the first touch and opened the scoring. With the advantage, Flamengo maintained their intensity and soon extended their lead. In another good play, Letícia made no mistake: 2-0. In first-half stoppage time, Leticia scored another with a powerful shot from the edge of the box, and Kaylane Júnior added the fourth before halftime.

In the second half, Mengão returned with the same rhythm and increased the lead. In the fifth minute, Duda Rodrigues received an excellent pass from Kaylane Júnior, dribbled past the goalkeeper, and swelled the net. The sixth came soon after, from Pimentinha, following a well-worked play and a cross from Duda Rodrigues. In the 18th minute, before the technical timeout, Mariana Fernandes went to the baseline and found Tuane, who controlled and fired a masterful shot: 7-0. The eighth soon followed. Duda Rodrigues lined up and passed to Mariana Fernandes. The number 7 beat the defender and slotted it into the corner. In the 34th minute, Naely took a chance from outside the box and scored a stunning goal: 9-0. The opposing team pulled one back in stoppage time with a penalty kick.
