On Monday afternoon (23), the U-20 team started the second phase of the Brazilian Championship in the category with the right foot and authority. Playing well throughout the match, the Meninas da Gávea beat Corinthians 3-0. Kaylane, Núbia and Duda Rodrigues scored the goals.

The game
As usual, Celso Silva's team maintained its style from the first minute and dominated the opponent. Given this scenario, chances soon arose with Gica, who headed two shots, which the goalkeeper saved. The goal came in the 37th minute: Duda Rodrigues advanced at speed, left her marker behind, and crossed. Gica finished, and Kaylane found the back of the net on the rebound. Mariana Fernandes nearly extended the lead with another move down the wing. The pressure continued, but the score remained unchanged until halftime: 1-0.

In the second half, it was all Mengão. In the fourth minute, Ingrid took a corner kick, Núbia rose high and headed it in firmly: 2-0. After that, what we saw on the field was a team committed to the red-and-black spirit at all times. There was no loose ball, and the great performance was crowned by a stunning goal. After a triangulation, Duda Rodrigues calmly controlled the ball and shot into the top corner to seal the victory: 3-0.
