On Wednesday afternoon (1), part of the U-20 squad played the last round of the qualifying phase of the Unifoot Diamante Pro Cup. At CEFAN, the Meninas da Gávea beat Portuguesa 3-1, with goals from Anny Marabá (2) and Naely, maintained their unbeaten run in the tournament and reached 12 points. 

The game

It didn't take long for Mais Querido to open the scoring. In the second minute, Laís made a beautiful play and set up Pimentinha. The forward challenged the defender, and the ball fell to Anny Marabá, who fired a cross-shot: 1-0. With the advantage, the team created a few chances through Naely, but couldn't extend their lead and went into halftime leading. 

In the second half, dominance prevailed throughout and right after the technical timeout, Naely hit a beautiful shot from outside the area: 2-0. Portuguesa scored in the sequence, tried a reaction, however, Anny Marabá gave the final numbers to the duel in a move inside the area: 3-1 and isolated leadership guaranteed as the best team in the competition.
