Flamengo's debut will be against Minas Brasília, on April 18th, at home

Last weekend, the CBF officially released the detailed schedule for the first eight rounds of the Brazilian Women's Championship, which will begin on April 17. In the opening round, Flamengo will host Minas Brasília on Sunday (18), at 15 pm, in Gávea. This will be the club's seventh participation in the competition.

Format

The tournament format remains the same as in 2020. All 16 clubs face each other in a single round, with the top eight advancing. The knockout stage will feature home-and-away matches.

A break is scheduled for July due to the Tokyo Olympics, meaning the decisive stage will be moved to August. The grand finale has already been set for September 12th and 26th.

Participants

The Most Beloved will face the following teams: Avaí/Kindermann, Bahia, Botafogo, Corinthians, Cruzeiro, Ferroviária, Grêmio, Internacional, Minas Brasília, Napoli-SC, Palmeiras, Real Brasília, Santos, São José and São Paulo.
