Serenity and tranquility have been a hallmark of Thaisa's life since her first steps in football. With a career that speaks for itself, the 36-year-old midfielder experienced one of the worst moments of her career in 2024, when she suffered multi-ligament injuries to her left knee.

Give up? No way... And it was with resilience, combined with experience, that the now number 5 overcame all the difficulties and is cautiously preparing to return to the field. In recent weeks, she began transitioning to physical conditioning and is excited.

"At first, it was a mix of emotions. I was a bit scared and insecure, but at the same time, I was extremely happy to overcome another stage in this process. It was a challenge to reinvent myself, and I had the chance to rediscover myself, to see what truly motivates me to be in the field. I feel renewed and eager to move forward," she commented.

Returning to the field is the main goal for a Paraná native who has wowed everywhere she's played. In her hometown of Xambré, in Europe—with stints in Spain and Italy—wearing the yellow jersey at the World Cup and Olympic Games, and, since 2022, in Rio de Janeiro.

"It's incredible to be closer to getting back to doing what I was truly born to do. After some time away, anxiety and excitement are a whirlwind inside me. I hope the next steps will be full of progress, both on and off the field. I want to learn, challenge myself, and be fit enough to return to the team and help the girls achieve our goals. I also want to enjoy every moment, as each phase of this injury is important for my growth as a person and as an athlete," he said.

Deeply identified with the club, the star became emotional when she spoke about the support she received from the Nação Rubro-Negra and opened her heart.

"Representing Flamengo is something unique. I've been with the club for a few years, and each season has its own value. I believe that, over time, I've developed a fantastic connection with the fans, especially those who follow me and root for my recovery. I can't wait to wear the jersey again," he concluded.
