After debuting with a rout, the Flamengo women's soccer team, in partnership with the Brazilian Navy, faces its next challenge against Bangu, next Wednesday (29), at 15 pm, in Gávea. The game, valid for the second round of the Campeonato Carioca, marks Flamengo's debut playing at home.

Last Sunday (26.07), the Flamengo team, in partnership with the Brazilian Navy, beat Karanba, 4-0, at Estádio dos Cordeiros, in São Gonçalo. The team showed its strength and started in the lead of the competition, with an advantage in goal difference over Barcelona and Bangu, who also debuted with a victory.

Flamengo is the result of an important partnership between the club and the Brazilian Navy to develop women's soccer. Through this initiative, Flamengo plays in the Campeonato Carioca and will compete in the Brasileirão alongside the Navy's women's soccer team.
