The Girls from Gávea remain undefeated in the Under-18 Brasileirão! In a duel held on the morning of this Friday (29), Mais Querido beat Botafogo, 4-0, in Sorocaba Training Center. The goals were scored by Mariana Fernandes, Tuane (2) and Kaylane. 

O JOGO

With a strong defense from the start, the team quickly created chances. In the fifth minute, Naely took a long-range shot, the goalkeeper saved, and Maria Peck nearly scored on the rebound. On the next play, the number 10 hit the post. The pressure continued, and the goal came in the final play of the first half. Kaylane lined up and passed to Peck. The forward crossed perfectly, and Mariana Fernandes caught it first time: 1-0.

In the second half, just two minutes into the second half, Peck advanced through the midfield and passed the ball into the box for Tuane, who slotted it home: 2-0. The third came in the 11th minute, and Tuane was a true masterpiece. The striker received the ball from Ana Portugal, dribbled with a backheel, and fired a shot that left no one standing. In the 20th minute, a cross into the box led to midfielder Kaylane rising above everyone to score the fourth. With the large lead, coach Marcos Gaspar took advantage of the situation by making substitutions; the team managed the result and solidified the rout.

With six points won, Mengão now faces Goiás, next Sunday (31), at 15:30 pm.
