New faces continue to arrive in Flamengo's women's soccer team! After announcing six reinforcements before the season's return, the Mais Querido has signed another player for the season: goalkeeper Yasmin, who previously played for the club and played in the last Carioca championship for Pérolas Negras. She is now available to the coaching staff.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Yasmin emerged as a standout in the youth academy in 2019 and was called up to the U-20 national team. Her strong performances attracted attention, and Mengão signed her the following year. In 2021, the goalkeeper performed well in the U-18 Brasileirão and went abroad, where she played for KF Murlani in Albania and Beylerbeyi SK in Turkey before returning to Brazil. Now more mature, the "Girl from Gávea" hopes to seize every opportunity.
"It's great to be home, and I'm happy and very motivated. Flamengo has always been a childhood dream, and wearing the jersey again is a source of pride. I promise to work hard to repay everything the club has done for me. Our group is strong, and we want to win titles this year," she declared.
