Cuéllar highlights the size of the match against Corinthians and calls for caution in Itaquera

Everything is ready for the debut of Mais Querido in the 2019 Copa do Brasil. The first challenge will be this Wednesday (15), against Corinthians, in Itaquera. On the eve of the duel, midfielder Cuéllar gave a press conference at Ninho do Urubu and projected the match.
"The impact of a Flamengo vs. Corinthians match is huge. These teams are well-known around the world; it's Brazil's biggest derby. It's not easy to win at Itaquera; they concede few goals there. We have to be very focused to get the advantage and decide the match at Maracanã."
The number 8 praised the quality of the squad and assured that everyone is ready for the knockout competitions.
"The team is gaining experience. We have several players who have been here since 2017. The team is learning not to make the same mistakes. Corinthians is a very tough rival. We respect them, but we have a very qualified squad, now with much more experience. We are aware and are working to avoid being left out of the knockout stages."
After talking about the Copa do Brasil clash, Cuéllar also commented on Emelec, Mais Querido's opponent in the round of 16 of the Conmebol Libertadores.
"We have a lot of respect for Emelec, a great team from Ecuador. They're always competing for titles and are in the Copa Libertadores every year. It's a tough match, but we have a great team. If they've made it this far, it's because they have quality. It's a decisive stage, and we can't afford to make mistakes."
