The second reinforcement of the transfer window, left-back Alex Sandro was officially presented on Thursday afternoon (5), at Ninho do Urubu. The 33-year-old athlete, formerly of Juventus, Italy, will wear the number 26 shirt for Mengão and was very happy to wear the Sacred Mantle. Check out some excerpts from the press conference:

First words
"I wanted to thank you for your kind words. I also have my words of gratitude for your confidence in me. I'm sure all of this will be rewarded on the field. I feel very happy, proud, and honored to be part of the enormous family that is Flamengo. I can't wait to step onto the field. This project they presented to me is truly wonderful and a club any player would love to play for."

Return to Brazil
"The decision was somewhat natural. Obviously, it's not just about the professional side, but also the personal side. It was made together with my family. I have two daughters who were born in Italy, and they're still very attached to the country. So, it was a collective decision to return to Brazil. The project presented, along with the coaching staff, I already knew, made my move to Flamengo easier. It's the club where I felt most familiar, and I feel like I'll adapt more easily to the players and coaching staff. I'm very happy to return to Brazil and play for Flamengo."

Debut with Holy Mantle
"I can't wait to feel the energy of the Flamengo fans and play in this wonderful stadium, the Maracanã. Everything in due time, but I hope to be ready for this opportunity."
