The time has come for Flamengo fans to play together and lead the team away from the relegation zone.

This was the tone of the speeches given by the vice-president of football, Kléber Leite, and coach Joel Santana early Friday evening, in Gávea.

The team will play 17 of its remaining 24 Brazilian Championship matches at Maracanã, considered by both teams to be the ideal venue for a comeback. The plan is to begin its comeback on Saturday against Náutico at 18:10 PM.

"I want to make an appeal to the fans. They've never failed us in our worst moments, and I'm sure they'll be by our side again now. It's with their help that we'll get through this difficult time. I ask that you encourage the team from start to finish, that you stand by us once again," said Kléber Leite.

"The fans' support is crucial, as it always has been. I'm sure they'll fill the Maracanã and help us. We're counting on that support. It's with the Red-Black Nation that we'll leave the relegation zone and live much better days," Joel projected.
