It's time for the Red-Black Nation to make a difference
In a decisive month, five of Flamengo's six games will be played in Rio de Janeiro

On Saturday (02.09), Flamengo begins its marathon of "decisions" in October. With matches against direct rivals fighting to escape the bottom of the table and also against teams that are fighting for the title, the team from Gávea will have a great asset: its fans. Of the six matches that will be played in the next 30 days, five will be in Rio de Janeiro, four of them at Engenhão and one at Raulino de Oliveira Stadium, in Volta Redonda.
The expectation, therefore, is that fans will turn out in large numbers at the stadiums and push the red-and-black team to victory. Tickets for this weekend's game against rival Botafogo are already on sale, and the players count on the presence of the Nation at the João Havelange Olympic Stadium.
"Flamengo fans always make a difference. They are the club's greatest asset, and having their support in the stands is always crucial. We're counting on them right now. We know it's tough, and they want to see results, but we'll dedicate ourselves once again to achieving victories," said goalkeeper Marcelo Lomba, a product of the club's youth academy.
Captain Leonardo Moura also called on fans to do their part and be decisive at this crucial moment in the Brazilian Championship.
"There's nothing to say about Flamengo's fans; they always show up in force, do their part, and we hope to see that happen again. The support of our twelfth player is incredibly important. I hope they're there on Saturday and in the other matches too, because they really do make a difference," he added.
