The striker couldn't hide his excitement when he was introduced to Flamengo, and the number 33 wants to repay all the confidence he's received in his debut. Overjoyed with the opportunity, Leandro says he has always dreamed of wearing the Fla shirt and, therefore, can't wait to play his first match, on Saturday (14.08), at Maracanã.

"I'm over the moon because I'm in the place I've always dreamed of. Flamengo is a great club, with a great fan base, and I'll do everything I can to honor this opportunity I'm being given," he said.

After playing for Vasco and Fluminense, Leandro Amaral is well aware of the strength of the Red-Black Nation and is now eager to have it on his side.

"I've played against Flamengo fans before and I know what it's like. Now I want them on my side. They'll be a great ally for the team on Saturday. I'm looking forward to this match," he added.
