Every die-hard football fan knows that "almost" and "if" don't win games. But when your team plays well, seeks victory, and it ends up not coming because of small details, it's impossible not to comment on the plays where everything almost went right. That's what happened with Flamengo this Wednesday (October 27.10th) against Corinthians. And even before the fans, midfielder Renato emphasized that the will shown in the second half could have given Flamengo the three points.

"I even told Diego Maurício after the play. That ball he passed to me, if it had come with more force, I could have shot better towards the goal. But he did his best and so did I. It's a shame it didn't work out," explained Renato, wanting to leave conditional phrases aside against Ceará.
"We secured a draw, and that's it. Now we have to work to get a win away from home in the next round. We're working well, we haven't lost yet with Luxemburgo, and we'll try to maintain that against Ceará," he concluded.
