At first, Petkovic doesn't worry

Supporter will be re-evaluated by Fla's medical department this Saturday

After suffering a blow to his right ankle during training this Friday (06.08), at Gávea, midfielder Petkovic left the field limping, but it shouldn't be a problem for the match against Corinthians. Flamengo's doctor, Dr. Márcio Tannure, explained that what happened to the midfielder was a normal training incident and that, in principle, he should face the São Paulo team.

Petkovic ended up suffering a hard tackle in the second half of training on Friday and, after the incident, the training session was ended by Rogério Lourenço and the Flamengo coaching staff. On Saturday (07.08), the Serbian will undergo another evaluation and will have his lineup confirmed or vetoed for Sunday (08.08).

"It was just a knock, a normal training thing. He'll be re-evaluated, but I don't think it's a problem," said Tannure.
