Abel Braga approves of the team's performance in the victory against Boavista.
Mais Querido defeated the Saquarema team 3-1 and qualified for the Guanabara Cup semi-finals.
By John Peter Granette - inFlamengo won another match in the Campeonato Carioca and secured their place in the Taça Guanabara semi-finals. The "Mais Querido" (Most Beloved) team defeated Boavista 3-1, with goals scored by Henrique Dourado, Uribe, and Rodrigo Caio. After the match, coach Abel Braga gave a press conference at the Maracanã and expressed his satisfaction with the game.

"I ended up with a very sharp team, and for me, that's priceless. It's only been 26 days of working with them, and if I'm doing this, it's because of the knowledge I already have and I know what they can give me in return. I'm happy with the victory. We still missed some goals that looked like they were in a video game, but the overall performance was very sharp. I liked it a lot."
The manager praised the quality of the squad and spoke about the good kind of headache he will have in choosing the team.
"On Sunday, it's a different team. They're messing with my head, and that's what I want. I want to have this problem. I like players who live the game, and the crowd's chanting was even louder today," he said.
"It's good to have everyone at a high level. We're forming a group, and when we lose someone, we won't have a headache. Some of the boys still have ups and downs. Piris improved a lot in the second half. We're still taking precautions against problems," he added.
Abel Braga took the opportunity during his chat with journalists to praise Flamengo's fans. More than 34 fans were present at the Maracanã to witness yet another victory for the red-and-black team this season.
"Let's wait and see, it's been really good. On Tuesday, they brought in over 30 people, they're starting to believe in us. We're gaining more confidence."
