After warm welcome at city hall, it was time for Estádio do Café to welcome Flamengo from Londrina. With around two thousand red-and-black fans, the team from Gávea held its first open training session in northern Paraná. Anyone expecting tactical training, or even collective training, since the team plays a friendly on Sunday (January 09.01), was mistaken. This Friday (January 07.01), Vanderlei Luxemburgo led a technical training session.

The work consisted of the following: the full-backs and midfielders (Egídio, Rodrigo Alvim, and Renato on the left, and Leonardo Moura, Digão, and Fierro on the right) followed a path marked by cones scattered on the pitch until they reached the goal line to cross.
In the box, the defenders (David, Ronaldo Angelim, Jean, Welinton) and midfielder Willians had to prevent shots from the rest of their teammates. Paulo Victor, Felipe, Marcelo Lomba, and Vinícius took turns in goal. Only Bottinelli and Maldonado did not participate in the activity and did separate physical training.
