- "The team is very motivated to win another title. We managed to bring together a very strong group, with players in their first year of juniors standing out a lot. All the athletes are at the same level, and that is very important."

Even with great standouts on the team, such as Vander and Diguinho, the coach made a point of praising the group's work.

- "We're working hard to motivate all the players in the squad. You can't single out one athlete in a group as strong as Flamengo's. My job is to prepare these kids to wear the red-and-black jersey in the future."

Flamengo's next game will be against Duque de Caxias, and the coach believes it will be a very competitive match.
