A standout performer at this Thursday afternoon's training session at Granja Comary in Teresópolis, striker Adriano said he's eager to take the field on Sunday against Grêmio, a match that could give the red-and-black team its sixth Brazilian Championship title. The Gávea number 10 stated that he's highly motivated to win such an important title.

"I feel very motivated. It's a title that will be important for me, my family, and all Flamengo employees and fans. We have to be calm to play well and win our sixth title. It's hard to contain our excitement because the chance of winning the title is so great, but now is the time for everyone to focus on making sure everything goes well on Sunday."

Adriano said he is a player who grows a lot in decision-making.

"I'm a star. God knows the kind of person I am, and he always helps me in important times. Regardless of what happens, I feel like I've turned things around. There were people who didn't believe in me. Now I'm the top scorer in the Brazilian Championship and I have the chance to win the sixth title."
