Adriano puts on a show and Fla scores a rout
Flamengo beat Internacional 4-0 and jumped to sixth place in the Brazilian Championship.

The team displayed beautiful football, redeeming their last two negative results in the Brazilian Championship. With the victory, the team from Gávea reached 10 points and moved up to sixth place in the table. Their next match will be against Fluminense on Sunday at Maracanã.
Flamengo came out intent on settling the match in the first half. Playing beautiful football, the red-and-black team opened the scoring in the 12th minute. Ibson delivered a beautiful pass to Adriano, who burst into the box and slotted it past Lauro: 1-0 Flamengo. Inter responded five minutes later, with Sandro taking a shot from the edge of the box. Bruno saved confidently.
Flamengo threatened again in the 30th minute. Juan passed the ball to Fabrício, who fired a powerful shot from the edge of the box. The ball grazed Lauro's post. In the 35th minute, Léo Moura advanced down the right flank and crossed to Ibson. The number 7 passed the ball to Emerson, who fired a powerful shot to make it 2-0 Flamengo.
In the 46th minute, Adriano added another for Flamengo. The Emperor took a classy free kick into Lauro's left corner: 3-0 Flamengo.
Flamengo returned for the second half with the same lineup. Playing intelligently, the red-and-black team scored another goal in the 20th minute, turning the victory into a rout. Léo Moura received a beautiful pass from Juan, burst into the box from the right, and was brought down in the box by Glaydson. Adriano fired in a classy shot and scored his third goal: 4-0 Flamengo.
With the victory secured, coach Cuca brought on Serbian Petkovic for a comeback. The number 43 came on in the 37th minute, to the delight of the red-and-black fans at the Maracanã stadium.
