Many Flamengo fans hoped Adriano and Kleberson wouldn't be called up to the Brazilian national team, as this would mean they wouldn't be missing from Flamengo in early March, when Brazil faces Ireland at the Emirates Stadium in London. However, for coach Andrade, the presence of both on Dunga's roster could have a very positive effect not only on the players themselves but on the entire squad.

The coach was full of praise for the duo, stating that the entire squad can capitalize on Adriano and Kleberson's happiness and use it as motivation for the rest of the season. After all, Flamengo has other players who are candidates for a spot on the Brazilian national team.

"Their happiness and motivation are good for the whole group. Congratulations to both of them; they deserved the call-up, and I believe this is good for them and good for Flamengo. It gives everyone here a boost, because each one has their own importance in their call-up," he explained.

Kleberson, by all accounts, is still fighting for a spot in the World Cup in South Africa, but Adriano is already considered a certainty. If Andrade's fans are anything to go by, then the Emperor will be firmly in the running for South Africa.

"It's all up to him. For me, he's already in the World Cup, and he knows that if he does his job well he'll secure that spot," he concluded.

This Wednesday, Adriano, Kleberson and the entire Flamengo group will carry out full-time activities at Ninho do Urubu, with an eye on the semi-finals of the Guanabara Cup, next Wednesday, against Botafogo, at Maracanã.
