With a workout at the club's gym, Emperor Adriano finished his individual preparation for Sunday's derby against Vasco da Gama at 19:30 p.m. at the Maracanã stadium. The Flamengo striker trained separately from the group on Tuesday and Wednesday, and completed his training for the match on Thursday (March 11.03). In the morning, he trained intensively on Barra da Tijuca beach and, in the afternoon, went to Gávea.

Adriano didn't travel to Venezuela, but last Wednesday night, he watched Flamengo's 3-1 victory over Caracas from home. The Emperor was thrilled and overjoyed with the result.

"I was nervous along with the team, but everything worked out. I watched the game at home, I'm very happy with the victory, and I was cheering the whole time," he celebrated.

In Venezuela, after their Libertadores triumph, the players were already considering counting on the star against Vasco. Happy with the result, they joked that, despite their fatigue, the team would have a well-prepared Emperor on the field, a fact that could tip the balance of the match.

On Friday (12.03), the squad will return to Gávea, and Adriano will train normally with his teammates. The activity will be at 15:30 pm, in Gávea.
