Thursday dawned sunny in Rio de Janeiro. With perfect weather for sunbathing and swimming, Emperor Adriano took advantage and went to the beach. But his trip to Barra da Tijuca wasn't about leisure. Quite the opposite. The Gávea number 10 sweated heavily under the guidance of fitness coach Daniel Jouvin. Interestingly, the striker ran into the national team's assistant coach, Jorginho, there.

The training session with Adriano was scheduled for the club's headquarters in Gávea, but was moved to Barra Beach. The center forward began his third day of training for Sunday's (March 14.03) match against Vasco at Maracanã with this activity. Later in the afternoon, he will do another workout at the club's gym and is not expected to even take to the field.

Motivated and supported by the group and the coaching staff, Imperador should be available to coach Andrade for the Clássico dos Milhões. According to fitness coach Daniel Jouvin, he's doing very well in training.

\

"He's in very good physical shape, as always. He's a strong player who's working hard to do well against Vasco," he explained.

\

On Friday (12.03), Adriano will train normally with the group. Andrade should hold a training session, and then reveal whether the Emperor will start or not in the duel against rival Vasco.
