After this afternoon's training session at CT Ninho do Urubu in Vargem Grande, striker Adriano spoke about his expectations for Flamengo's upcoming Brazilian Championship match, Sunday, against Coritiba at Maracanã. A standout for Flamengo in the victory over Sport, the number 10 praised the coaching staff's preparation work and said he expects to perform even better against the Paraná team.

"I know I can help Flamengo even more. We're doing a good job preparing, and I hope to play a good game on Sunday. I'm fully focused and concentrated on achieving my goals and those of Flamengo. I'm gaining rhythm as the games go by and I hope to improve even more in the upcoming matches. I'm very happy, and that's important for achieving success."

Adriano assured that he is very happy at the red-black club and that he has no intention of leaving the Club.

"I'm not really thinking about leaving. My goal is Flamengo, and I haven't accepted some offers. I'm happy here in every way, which is what matters to me. Flamengo is my focus, and I don't want to leave. I'd like, if possible, to compete in the Libertadores, yes, something I haven't had the chance to do yet. But it will depend on how Flamengo and I are doing. There's also no point in leaving and being unhappy wherever I go. I could stay until the end of my career, forever, who knows?"
