Whenever he returns from the Brazilian National Team, the impression is that Adriano comes back even more determined to prove himself for Flamengo. Now is no different. Despite the ankle sprain suffered against Bolivia and missing the game against Venezuela, the striker showed up for tomorrow's match against Palmeiras confident that he can maintain the level that earned him a call-up to the national team.

The difference is that Adriano understands the importance of Flamengo's current situation in the Brazilian Championship. A victory over the league leaders is, for him, fundamental for Flamengo to dream bigger in the competition.

"Returning to the club after being with the national team is always good, and I'm even more excited. The responsibility increases because I know I need to stay in good shape to continue being called up. Now I'm totally focused on the game against Palmeiras. We have to take advantage of this to make a leap in the championship," commented the Emperor.

Adriano also knows that Flamengo will not have an easy time tomorrow. On Palmeiras' side, he believes that Diego Souza, with whom he played on the national team, and Wagner Love, who dreams of one day being called up again, deserve special attention.
