Adriano received this Friday (16.04), at the CBF headquarters, the Goal King and Golden Striker trophies from the 2009 Craque Brasileirão Awards. The player, who was the top scorer in the Brazilian Championship with 19 goals, alongside Diego Tardelli, participated in the launch of the Handbook on Rights and Prevention of Trafficking of Children and Adolescents in Sport.

The event, sponsored by the Rio de Janeiro State Council for the Defense of Children and Adolescents, features the striker as its poster boy. Confirmed for this Sunday's classic against Botafogo in the Taça Rio final, the Emperor wore the project's jersey, which matches the Brazilian national team's colors, and spoke to the press.

"I'm in great condition to face Botafogo on Sunday," he said.
