After this morning's training session at the George Helal Training Center, which already featured Flamengo's new arrivals, Alan Patrick and Ayrton, the reinforcements were presented to the press. In a press conference, football director Rodrigo Caetano assured that he is working to ensure the athletes can be available for Cristóvão this Saturday (June 13.06), against Coritiba.
"With Cristóvão's arrival, we've changed our lean squad planning a bit. We brought them (Alan Patrick and Ayrton) in with the idea of improving the squad. They're traveling today for the game. We're trying to get them in shape in time," the manager stated.
Right-back Ayrton spoke about his joy at defending the Manto Sagrado. "I came to help Flamengo. I'm very happy to be here. I'm at the coach's disposal and focused on helping the team," he said, followed by Alan Patrick, who declared himself a fan of the Galinho de Quintino.
"I'm motivated, happy. I hope to debut soon and lead Flamengo to victories. I play in whatever position they need me. It's an honor to wear this shirt, at the club of Zico, my idol. The fans embrace the team; they're the biggest in Brazil. I know the responsibility of being here," said the midfielder.
