It's normal when there's an elimination. We talk, you look at your teammate and notice that he's sad about the loss, but our profession gives us the chance, in another competition, to have another opportunity every three or four days to run, show off, play a new game, perform well, and seek victory. Now that's in the past, we have to learn the lesson, look at this elimination, and see where we went wrong so we don't make the same mistakes again. In training, we'll always be improving.
Objective in the Brazilian Championship
We have to come back 100% focused on the Brazilian Championship; that's what we have this year. Without a doubt, we will, step by step, game by game, go after the three points to move up and focus on the top four, which is our goal. It's good to have Oswaldo's confidence. I know he trusts me, not just everyone. We can't get complacent. We must always be focused on improving and moving up.
Confrontation with Sport
It's going to be a tough game, like all the others in the Brazilian Championship. We're focused, knowing the challenges we'll face. Sport is very strong at home, but I believe our team is well prepared to put in a good performance.

Team without Guerrero
"Guerrero is a player who is a reference point up front. Without him, we'll have to use our best for the match. We have to be aware that we might have a player with different characteristics in his place to make the most of this. The team worked hard, and the coach will fine-tune a few more details so we can perform well."
Function within the field
"I believe I can help with ball retention. My role in recent games has been to connect defense and attack. Whenever I'm on the field, I'll try to do that. Everyone on the field, having the maturity to know when to hold on, keep the ball, or attack, speeding up the game... We've been talking a lot within the team, and in the second half, we'll take off and have some fun."
