Alert on to avoid surprises on Saturday.

Renato guarantees full focus against Guarani and throughout the final stretch of the Brazilian Championship.

The Brazilian Championship has reached its final stretch. There are three rounds left in the competition. The first of these is next Saturday (November 20.11th) against Guarani at Engenhão. With the alert on, the Flamengo players are working hard during the week to achieve a positive result in this direct confrontation with Guarani.

Midfielder Renato analyzes Flamengo's campaign so far in the championship and acknowledges that the team has fallen short in some aspects, but even so, it only depends on themselves to leave this uncomfortable situation behind.

"The alert has always been on. We know what we've been doing during the weeks, the months. We've been fighting to get Flamengo out of the situation it's in today. The moment isn't good, we've stopped winning some games at home, but we have to turn things around. Right now, there are three rounds left, at no point have we entered the relegation zone, we don't think about that and we depend on ourselves. We're going to give our all in these matches," said the player, avoiding criticism of the group.

"Now is the time to fix things, not to criticize. The group is very good, they work without problems. We don't need to give many explanations. We need to try to correct things in the next game. We just need to be calm and patient and we will get out of this situation," he analyzed.

Renato also believes that this is a time for everyone to unite to get Flamengo out of this situation. The number 11 believes there is no reason for despair and promises great commitment in this final stretch.

"The boat belongs to everyone. Flamengo is like an ocean. If the boat enters it and sinks, everyone will fall. It's no use me thinking I had a good championship if the team is relegated. Everyone has their responsibility, the president has hers off the field, which is to fulfill commitments, and we have ours on the field. We know we are making mistakes, the results are not what she or the fans want. We try to fight all the time. We don't live only on victories. We have to feel the delicate situations firsthand and try to get out of them. We are feeling it firsthand and we will work to get out of this situation," he concluded.

Similarities with 2005 –
Renato experienced a similar situation five years ago at Flamengo. The midfielder, however, recalls that that championship was quite different from this year's. After all, the team from Gávea spent a lot of time in the relegation zone, something that hasn't happened even once this year.

"The comparison is based on the current situation. At that time, we spent a lot of time in the relegation zone, just like Atlético was now. Today we have a seasoned group, everyone knows the capabilities of each player, we've played for big teams, we've won important titles, and we know the quality we have. We haven't entered the relegation zone yet. It's not the ideal time to enter it, especially since there are three rounds left, so we have to fight until the end," he concluded.
