On the eve of the Taça Rio final, Flamengo and Botafogo directors, players, and coaches met for lunch this Friday at a restaurant in Lagoa, Rio de Janeiro. In an atmosphere of complete friendship, the two teams celebrated peace with a relaxed lunch.

"In football, it's hard to have friendships like that. It's always one person wanting to eat the other. Here, today, we're going to eat together," joked coach Cuca.

Vice President of Football Kleber Leite celebrated the harmonious atmosphere between the teams. He hopes there will be no violence on Sunday.

"In Europe, it's very common for rival team managers to meet. Everything should be kept to the pitch. You can cheer and scream for your team, without violence. Everyone approved the lunch idea, and this meeting is very special. We just don't know who will foot the bill yet."
