High spirits as a weapon to overcome a bad phase

The cast believes that the unity and good humor of the group and Silas can make a difference.

Flamengo's squad is experienced and accustomed to both great achievements and difficult times. With players who have won numerous titles and also experienced difficult situations in football, the Rubro-Negro is banking on the unity and high spirits of the group and the new coach, Silas, a former player himself, to turn things around in the Brazilian Championship. Currently in fifteenth place, Flamengo hopes to bounce back and challenge for the top spots in the table.

To achieve this, the willingness to work hard and earn the trust of coach Silas's team is crucial. Goalkeeper Marcelo Lomba praised the early stages of his relationship with the manager and is confident that things will improve soon.

"I can see the coach's strong desire to work hard and win over the group. I think he's very positive. He has a high spirit and will infect the crowd and improve things," he said.

After all, for him, Flamengo is not in a position in the table that matches the strength and quality of its squad.

"We have a good squad and I think the position in the table does not reflect Flamengo's squad either," he added.

A good chance to start a journey to the top is next Sunday (05.09), when the team from Gávea faces Santos, at 16 pm, at Maracanã.
