The George Helal Training Center received, this Friday (16), a visit from the Pro License – Football Coach class, the highest certification from the CBF Academy. The group took part in a tour of the professional football and youth categories facilities at Flamengo, as well as attending a lecture given by Filipe Luís, the current coach of the professional team.

The PRO License is aimed at training coaches qualified to work in national and international clubs, especially in high-level competitions. The program focuses on training and managing professional high-performance teams, covering topics such as technical planning, leadership, athlete management, game analysis, and the role of the coach in a globalized context.

During the visit, the coaches attended a lecture by Filipe Luís, who addressed topics such as planning for the start of the season, the values ​​of the profession on and off the field, managing squad changes, collective resilience, attitude in pre-season games, and reflections on working at clubs and national teams.

Edson Palomares, coordinator of the CBF Academy's PRO License program, highlighted the importance of the meeting at Ninho do Urubu and Filipe Luís's relationship with the group:

“We are with our group that is finishing the in-person part of the PRO License course. There are 33 coaches, with participants from Brazil and abroad, including professionals from Portugal and Germany. They have the honor of having Filipe as a classmate. He attended classes with them at different stages of the course and made a point of inviting the group to visit Flamengo. He is a professional who is now one of the leading exponents of Brazilian coaches, and this exchange here at the club has been extremely enriching for everyone.”

In addition to the lecture, the group took a guided tour of the professional football and youth academy facilities. The tour showcased the organization of both departments, as well as the infrastructure of the training center, which has 11 football fields dedicated to development and high performance. Flamengo's football director, José Boto, accompanied the visit, sharing information about the club's organization and the daily routine of the professional department.
