On Thursday afternoon, MMA legend Anderson Silva visited the George Helal Training Center for physical testing and strength training. Impressed, the fighter shared his impressions of the Center of Excellence in Performance, CEP FLA.
"This is my first time at Ninho do Urubu, even though I live very close by. I came to see CEP FLA through my doctor, Dr. Márcio Tannure (Head of Flamengo's Medical Department). I really liked what I found, the facilities are really good and I'm very grateful to Flamengo for opening their doors to me. I'm very happy with everything I've accomplished here today," he said.
Anderson Silva is preparing to face Uriah Hall in his next UFC bout on May 14th in Curitiba. In addition to "Spider," Rogério Minotouro, also an MMA fighter, and midfielder Ibson used the Rubro-Negra facility for testing, strengthening, and medical treatment.
