After this afternoon's training session in Gávea, coach Andrade said he's confident the Flamengo team will perform well in tomorrow's match against Atlético-MG at Maracanã. Andrade was full of praise for the Brazilian Championship leader, but said Flamengo is ready to secure another victory in the competition.

"Everyone expects a good performance. It will be a tough match against the league leaders, but the team is ready and prepared. Everyone is aware of the responsibility. We have to treat it like a final, because it's a very important game for us. We'll play in front of our fans and we need to be calm to get the result."

For the coach, tomorrow's match will be a great duel between the attacking duos.

"In my opinion, Flamengo and Atlético-MG have the best attacking duos in Brazil. Éder Luis and Diego Tardelli are great players and deserve our attention. But the entire Atlético-MG team is a concern. Serginho and Júnior are two defensive midfielders who know how to play and get forward a lot. We have to be alert throughout the match."
