According to the coach, the fans' presence will be crucial to helping the red-and-black team in another tough match in the Brazilian Championship.

"Flamengo's fans have always been a differentiator. They're special and have helped the team achieve many victories. We're counting on their presence on Thursday. I hope to see a packed Maracanã. I ask for a little patience, because it's going to be a very difficult game against the league leader. We have to be prepared."

One of Flamengo's all-time idols, Andrade said that yesterday's victory over Santos had a more than special flavor.

"It wasn't an easy game. We're playing against a 36-year-old taboo. There was a lot at stake. The players understood this and played with great desire and determination. This victory could be the starting point for a great comeback."
