The result of the Taça Rio final wasn't what was expected, but coach Andrade didn't want to dwell on the loss to Botafogo. After all, Flamengo fought hard, had chances to win the title, and ended up falling on their feet. For the coach, now is the time to relax, continue working hard, and focus on the Copa Libertadores.

During the week, the coach had already pointed out the difficulty in winning all the tournaments that are contested. The current Brazilian champion, the commander praised his team's performance and promised a lot of desire in the match against Caracas, on Wednesday (18.04), at Maracanã.

\

"We were Brazilian champions, we reached the Rio Cup final... We're in the right place. We still have a chance in the Libertadores. Flamengo didn't think they were going to win any day, they fought and had chances to score. Unfortunately, Adriano missed a penalty, we missed other good balls and ended up losing," he analyzed.

If the greatest virtue of a defeated player is knowing how to recognize the opponent's superiority, Andrade was no different. He avoided complaints and any kind of whining, and he praised Joel Santana.

\

"I'm not going to cry, I have to congratulate Botafogo and Joel, who knew how to organize the team well. Merit to Botafogo who scored the goals both times he arrived," the coach added.

This Monday (19.04), Flamengo returns to Ninho do Urubu, in Vargem Grande, to begin work thinking about the duel against Caracas.
