Engenhão is Botafogo's home stadium, but Flamengo remains undefeated at the stadium. With six wins and one draw in the seven matches played at João Havelange Olympic Stadium, Flamengo returns to their rival's stadium this Sunday, against América, at 16 p.m. The fans, players, and coaching staff are hoping for another positive result, but according to coach Andrade, past history doesn't affect the team on the field.

The coach doesn't like the idea that fans think the stadium is bringing him luck. According to Andrade, the good results, whether achieved there or elsewhere, are the result of hard work.

"I don't believe we're getting lucky. We have to work hard, be focused, and not wait for the stadium to bring us luck. This is all about hard work. It's a good stadium, it offers good conditions, and we'll do our best to come away with another victory," he said.

Despite the praise for Engenhão, the red-black coach would not like to give up playing at Maracanã, which for him, is the true home of Flamengo and its fans.

"The ideal would be to stay at Maracanã. We like playing on big pitches, the fans are used to it too, so the ideal would be to play there," he stressed.

Vagner Love, despite having scored three times at the stadium, agrees. According to him, fans prefer to go to Maracanã.

"Flamengo fans are used to Maracanã. We know that this change makes things a bit more difficult for the fans. When the game is at Maracanã, it's great for us and for the fans too," he added.

Flamengo's last two matches were at Engenhão Stadium. They drew 2-2 against Botafogo and won 3-1 against Tigres, with a goal from Vagner Love.
