Flamengo's final training session before the Taça Rio final against Botafogo took place this Saturday (April 17.04) at Ninho do Urubu. The red-and-black team played a fun game, but Léo Moura gave the coaching staff a scare. The right-back felt discomfort in his right thigh and left the training session.
Léo Moura began treatment for the injury immediately in the physiotherapy room and is now doubtful for Sunday's match (18.04). According to the club's Medical Department, he will be re-evaluated moments before the decision.
"He complained of pain in the adductor muscle of his right thigh and we decided to take him out of training. Before lunch this Sunday, he will be re-evaluated as is customary. If he is okay, he will play in the game," said Walter Martins.
Midfielder Willians, who was recovering from right ankle pain, is confirmed for the derby, however. Álvaro, with right calf pain, is ruled out.
