After Tuesday morning's training session in Gávea, coach Andrade praised the Flamengo team's progress in recent Brazilian Championship matches. According to the Flamengo manager, Flamengo is now a mature team, ready to face any opponent.

"A victory in Bahia is crucial. It's a tough one, but it's tough for them too. Our team is mature today and can play great games anywhere. We're not focusing on projections. We're only thinking about the three points against Vitória. There's no point in thinking about São Paulo and Palmeiras if we don't beat Vitória. It's crucial for our path to the top four."

Andrade has not yet confirmed the starting team that will take to the field tomorrow, in a match valid for the 28th round of the Brazilian Championship.

"There's not much to change, nothing to invent. We won't have Adriano and Fierro, and we'll pursue the same training model. Adriano is sorely missed right now, but whoever comes in will do just as well."

The Fla commander praised Zé Roberto's performance in the Fla-Flu and said he trusts in Denis Marques' recovery.

"Everyone here has been patient with Zé Roberto, supporting him, and we're happy with the moment he's in now. Everyone on the field is important and can help Flamengo. Zé Roberto went through difficult times; many no longer believed in him, and today he's one of the standouts. Denis, given his past, can play at a high level again. I spoke with him, and he told me it's a difficult role to play because it's a dual role, and that wears him out. Denis has been working hard for the group."
