Flamengo's team earned an important point against Botafogo, but defender Ronaldo Angelim believes they could have left the Engenhão stadium with a victory. Despite this, the number 4 left the stadium happy. Back in the starting lineup and after a good performance, the "Iron Man" sees personal and collective improvement in the Brazilian Championship.
The defender returned to the first team and did not disappoint. After a good game, both scoring and trying to help in attack on the left side, he believes the team is on the right track.
"I'm happy to be helping Flamengo. The team played well and I even believe they deserved the victory. The team performed well in this formation, the defense was good, but we always have to work harder," he said.
The defender believes that now is the time to maintain unity and focus on victories in order to continue the winning streak in the Brazilian Championship.
"We'll get the victory eventually. The team is playing well, it's improving, and I believe we'll get the results. We don't have to think about what's happening outside, but rather maintain our unity so we can leave the field with wins," he concluded.
Flamengo will return at 15pm on Monday (04.10), at Ninho do Urubu, in Vargem Grande.
