"Winning in the opening game is always more difficult because the team isn't yet fully integrated, mainly because we have several players out and the heat was intense. But it doesn't matter that we won 3-2. What's important are the three points we earned," said Bruno.

Right-back Everton Silva praised the work of coach Andrade, who made the right substitutions at the right time and was fundamental in changing the attitude of the Flamengo team, which turned the game around and secured their first victory of 2010.
