On Sunday morning (18), Mais Querido easily beat Figueirense 2-0 at Pacaembu, and remains firmly in the fight for the Brazilian Championship title. With the victory, Rubro-Negro remains in second place in the competition with 50 points, one less than leader Palmeiras. Leaving the field, midfielder Diego spoke about the game, the goal scored and took the opportunity to praise the Nation.

"A difficult game, as they have always been and will be. The fans were once again sensational. We left feeling we did our job. We (Diego and Vaz) argued in a healthy way, but I was confident, I decided to take the penalty and everything went well," said the number 35.
