After winning its 38th Campeonato Carioca title, Flamengo returned this Monday (8), at Ninho do Urubu, and began preparations for the match against Palestino-CHI, which takes place next Wednesday (10), at 21:30 pm, at Maracanã. The clash is valid for the second round of Group E of the Conmebol Libertadores.
The athletes who started the final against Nova Iguaçu did regenerative work in the gym, while the others took to the field for physical and tactical training. Announced as Mengão's newest signing, forward Carlinhos visited the training center to get to know the facilities and begin training with his new club. He finished second in the Cariocão championship with eight goals.
Coach Tite leads the last activity this Tuesday (9) before the home debut in the continental competition. It is worth remembering that Rubro-Negro comes from a 1-1 draw with Millonarios, in Colombia, in the first round of Group E.
