Flamengo returns from Santos with a point in their luggage and with their focus on the next match for the Championship.Brazilian national team, which will be against Sport, next Sunday (29). After the draw at Vila Belmiro, Cuellar has already highlighted the importance of the fans' support at Maracanã against the Pernambuco team.
"The next one is tough, and all Brasileirão games are very tough. Every team tries to play even better against Flamengo. We'll have the fans at home. If we want to stay in the lead, we'll have to go for the goal from the first minute. On Sunday, I'm hoping for the support of the fans, which will make us stronger before and during the match," commented the midfielder.
Attacking midfielder Everton Ribeiro also spoke about his expectations for the next match.
"Sunday's game will be crucial for our journey, especially with our fans and on our field. We'll show everyone's strength together. We're counting on the nation's support to seek this victory and continue on this path that we hope will work out in the end."
